I wanted to make sure I went back and wrote a review. I bought this translator almost 4 months ago and ended up having some technical issues with it about a month ago. I wrote the company about the issue because none of the trouble shooting I did was solving my problem. They had me ship my translator back (which took me way too long to get around to doing) and immediately refunded my shipping cost and sent me a new set which got here surprisingly fast! Their customer service was excellent, I don’t even write reviews but theirs is well deserved! Things happen especially with technology, so I understand. But they really stand behind their product. If you are on the fence about buying this im urging you to go ahead and place your order now. Sure the translation isn’t 100% perfect, it’s impossible to accomplish but this translator has got to be the most advanced on the market today, and is definitely worth the money. Especially in my household where my husbands main language is Spanish and mine is English and neither of us has gotten around to mastering each other’s languages 100% this fills in all the gaps. We have young children and this was absolutely necessary in our family and has helped sooo much. Thank you so much TimekettleI purchased the WT2 Edge/W3 Translator Device for an upcoming trip to Spain. I was a little suspicious that these earphones would work, but a friend said I should try them. After using them for a week or two, here are my thoughts.My first attempt at using them was with an online video in Spanish. They worked okay but sometimes lost the conversation when it became too fast. I was worried at first, but then I tried them with my partner from Spain. Surprisingly, they translated her conversation with me with about 95% accuracy, maybe even 99%. Very impressive! So with this, I would say that these translators are perfect for one-on-one conversations. Not so much with groups of people or videos that may speak very quickly or have overlapping conversations, which makes sense for this type of product. I did find success with videos when it was one person speaking at a medium speed. For these reasons, I am giving it five stars. Not perfect, but it definitely exceeded my expectations and would allow me to have a conversation with a Spanish speaker with ease.As for customer service, I ordered the offline package. This package comes with a card with a code that allows you to download the offline content to use the product without wifi or Internet service. The card was either left out of my package or lost in the initial unpackaging of the translators. Either way, I called customer service late in the evening and received a message they were closed. I figured I would call back on Monday when they were open. On Monday morning, I received a call from a random number. Thinking it was a sales call about my car warranty, I ignored it. When I listened to the message, it was from a representative whose initials are GM (not sure if Amazon allows names in reviews) from Timekettle, the product maker. He was returning my call to see how they could help me. I told them my offline card was missing and that I would be traveling to Spain in a few days. GM took my name and order number and sent the card the very next day to ensure I had it before my trip! He even called again to make sure I received it. I was absolutely shocked that they returned my call so quickly and handled the issue within 24 hours. Awesome!I am looking forward to using these as I practice my Spanish and testing them with friends in Spain.The most Amazing Translator!!! The Timekettle WT2 Edge/W3 Translator Device is the best on the market. Don't let the price fool you. It is worth every dollar. You are getting 5x more capabilities than it's closest competitor. 1. You can have understandable accurately translated discussions in real time in most languages. 2. You can listen in real time without sharing your device with anyone. 3. you can read text of the spoken and translated words. 4. It has a good offline (no wifi) translator function. 5. it has a touch to speak function (usually the only function with competitors). But if you need a handsfree option for personal face to face conversations then you better purchase this item. There is a bonus with this device. Unlike others, you can use one earbud at a time for listening which gives you twice the battery life usefulness. You can charge one while using the other. This means Days of usage.... WOW! I highly recommend you using this device on a 2nd phone (no network service required, just wifi & bluetooth). This will allow for any mobile/desktop device conversations like video chat. Customer service is 5 Stars hands down. Product Quality is outstanding and charging is super fast. Translation rating is about 85% in my opinion. It is great for business transactions and meetings. I have made money and new friends with this very sleek translator. For Travelers, it is a must have. If you are a Star Trek fan, it is pretty close.Able to have conversations if I have a good cell or wifi connection. But I have been to a lot of places in Atlanta, Nashville and other big cities where the cell reception is only 2 bars at times and it is very slow or doesn't translate and just says bad network connection all the time. So I would only get it if it has the languages you want in offline mode. I would say it is about 70% accurate on words but there are some words it definitely doesnt like and translate those words wrong all the time. I would end up having to use good translate since and pass the phone back and forth, when i was in places with a poor cell connection. Cell Carrier I have is ATT if you are wondering that also.I was excited to test out but This thing was all over the place , did not seem to work at all for me . It like it had a mind of it own !!! I tried a few different languages . Did not have any luck .
