MIFO S ANC Wireless Earbuds, Bluetooth 5.2, IP67 Waterproof - for Sports & Workouts

I have the original Mifo earbuds & was upgrading to these. I had to return them 3x before I had a pair that actually worked properly. They are advertised as supporting pass thru mode like the originals but they don't, the instructions say press for 2 or 3 secs but nothing. The battery life is awesome almost 7 hrs compared to the original 2hrs. It comes with an adapter so you can charge your phone etc using the case which acts as a battery pack. They come with a bunch of tips so fitting is easy & comfy, but some are soo ridiculously tiny that they pose a hazard of getting stuck in your ear canal if not careful. Again, they do not support pass thru as advertised, which makes them unsafe to use while bicycling or jogging hence the three stars instead of 5... Bummer ?I have had some earbuds in the past and gave up on them when no one could hear me. I got tired of holding my cell phone and looked at reviews. The Mifo 05 Gen 2 had very good reviews and while there are newer generations, this seemed to suit my less than techno needs. I had a hard trying to get them to pair to my cell phone but I attribute that to my zero tech skills. My neighbor helped me out and they work perfect.It has been a learning in using them but that was a minor issue to my enjoying them.Great earbuds, they also look and feel great.I was expecting a better earbud based on an online review of this product and saying Best Buy for the price. The battery life is good, but the sound quality is just okay. The most annoying thing about this product is that it tends to cut out in the wind. This happens on windy days when my phone is in my pocket or I turn my head toward the wind. Maybe my expectations were too high, but it does not cancel outside noise as well as my over the ear headphones.Sound is good the battery does last awhile. I’m still trying to figure out how to use it.The tapping ear to answer/volume etc is a little unpredictable. Not super comfortable. Have to keep pushing them in to keep them in no mater which size earpiece I use. I kept them because I gave up finding a better pair.No matter what I did, equalizer, etc, they sounded like listening to a transistor radio. Could not get any bass. I ended up getting some Jabra earbuds. Half the price and double the sound quality.Súper confortable but the sound it’s flat,battery life it’s greatAs my wife can attest I'm a bluetooth earbud addict and own WAY too many pairs now - I must have at least 10 pairs of earbuds as well as 5 or 6 pairs of headphones, so it's getting slightly out of control. However all have their own good points - some are more comfortable than others for long journeys, others have better noise cancellation for calls, and others are cheap enough that I don't care too much if I lose them on a night out etc.This is my first pair of Mifo earbuds, but based on these they won't be the last as they have now become my default gym/workout earbuds - they are really comfortable to wear with a nice secure sound isolating fit, but balance that with a really nice sound. Once you get the fit right (adjustable tips are included) these just won't budge or fall out no matter what you are doing.You'll get about 9 hours play from a single charge, with the slick aluminum case giving 150 hours is total and a nice touch is you can even use the case as an emergency phone charger. I'm not sure if this is the best in it's class for battery but it certainly wipes the floor with all the others I've got. Sound quality is top notch - plenty of bass but also great detail in the top end. There's a transparency mode where sounds from outside are piped in so you don't have to remove them to hear what's going on when crossing a road etc.These aren't the cheapest but everything about them from the design to the metal case and battery life is quality.The good bits…Packaging niceBatteries very goodThe average bits…Sound quality average at bestEasy connectionControls okThe bad bits…At the price point I’d expect better audio for music.Using these to talk is very poor, unless in a very quiet environment. The noise suppression is too aggressive and makes walking and talking all but impossible.The controls are ok but fiddly, I’ve not tried using one bud yet, not sure how that’d work with controls on both buds.Overall I’m disappointed.The buds stay in my ears very well and noise cancellation is great but the sound quality is quite poor - scratchy treble and a muffled bass but the best wireless earbuds I’ve owned and I’ve tried a few.Some reviews suggested poor linking with Bluetooth devices although I have had no trouble.I won’t be looking to replace these ones any time soon.Very disappointing. Every single time I have used these the left earbud stops working after a few minutes. I have reset, disconnected, reinstalled etc etc and nothing seems to correct this fault. The battery is fine with this ear piece. Im not happy at all.I am very particular about sound quality and I find these earbuds are big hitters in that department. The battery life is amazing, build quality of both the buds and the case is impressive, add that to a very reasonable price tag and there’s not a lot negative I can say really so I haven’t.
