These are my third wireless earbuds. The first were the Samsung IconX, and the second being the LG Force. Both are great, but the IconX ones were hard to get accustom to because I was so afraid I would lose them being out and about.I got these given they had a big drop in price, and they are good earbuds and provide a decent amount of sound and bass. The left ear also has a charging port underneath when the lid is slid open and the right functions as a power off/on button. They connected immediately to my cell phone as soon as I turned it on. However, it is hard to have it connect with another cell phone because I have tried two different ones with no luck. I think it will only aim to connect with a new device when the battery completely dies, gets recharged, and then turns on again. With that being said, I like the hook tips and it fits nicely in around the ear for security. The right earbud takes some getting used to because it may accidentally power off when I push it too long to go in my right ear. I’ve noticed I have to fiddle with that for a little bit before it finally fits in my ear. Overall, I am happy with these and would recommend them only at a price drop.Additionally, Amazon sent me the wrong color when I ordered the blue ones. That was very disappointing!TLDR version: These headphones functioned properly for two weeks, then it went downhill quickly. A week of weirdness and I was done. Had to pay return shipping. The good: I purchased the Samsung Level Active headphones because of a review I read on Consumer Reports, despite my need for an open-back design (I jog in my neighborhood and need to hear cars). To solve that issue I could seat the earbuds loosely to hear my surroundings, which felt comfortable enough and I only had to adjust them once or twice during my hour long routine. The sound quality is good - quite a bit better than my Yurbuds (pre JBL buyout, so I can't speak to the current offerings there). The bad: After only two weeks of normal use, the headphones started randomly skipping to the beginning of whatever track I was listening to. It was periodic (every second or third song) and I thought it was a stuck button or a fluke. Not so. It got increasing worse during the following week and I was soon unable to listen to any music without it skipping back every 3 to 4 seconds. It was persistent too. Even if I stopped the music on my phone, the headphones would start it back and keep skipping. In the latter part of that third week, after a full charge using only the provided charging cable (never anything third party), the headphones would not turn off and the battery would be very nearly depleted by my next workout, lasting only 30 to 40 minutes. Then I tried charging it right before my workout, thinking maybe it was the run-down battery causing the skipping. I found that it skipped just as badly on a full charge. I also had to constantly re-pair the device to my phone because it stayed on and I couldn't use Siri while it was connected and in another room. The ugly: I paid $8 to return the headphones. The seller I purchased from, SSA DISTRIBUTORS INC., did not list their return policy at the time of my purchase and initiated return, either on this listing or their seller page. There was no communication from the seller besides the notification when my refund was issued.Update 02: The speaker works fine if it's connected to one device only (preferably a mobile)Update 01 (10 months later): Battery life is really bad, not even an hour of playing music. Also connectivity issues. it's like listening to music on an old radio device.I've been using these headphones for a while now, so this is my review after 5 months of usePros:1- very comfortable to wear, secured in the ear and won't budge during working out.2- The range is good, you don't have to carry your phone with you the whole time.3- easy to connect, hadn't experienced any issues with connectivity4- sound quality is decent, and the noise cancellation is good as wellCons:1- Battery life is short, it'll last for two workout sessions then you'll have to recharge2- Microphone quality is bad, people have problems hearing me during phone calls3- For some reason, it'll go silent when you're laying on your side or if you're doing a movement that requires tilting or rotating your head and body. which is weird for a sports gear as you're supposed to move around with them.I'm a Samsung loyalist when it comes to mobile peripherals like earbuds. All of the Samsung products talk to each other, and I like that.Unfortunately, these earbuds are more problematic than I would like. They seem to power up randomly and pair with my phone without me actively doing anything. The battery life is also not great. I would estimate 2 and a half hours max uninterrupted play time on a full charge. On a positive note, they fit nicely in the ear and the native Samsung Gear app gives the earbuds increased functionality when used with a Samsung device (in my case a Note 8).I had previously used the Gear Circle earbuds, and they are superior in every respect. I would spend the extra 25 bucks and spring for those. While these earbuds will do in a pinch, it's certainly not Samsung's finest.I've had numerous pairs of these. They last a very good while and the best thing is that you can't lose "one". The sound quality is VERY good in my opinion. The battery life is very good. Highly recommend.I really love these but they are so easy to lose because they have a tendency to fall off your neck. They are lightweight but they pack a punch when it comes to sound. Travelling and handling many other tasks are way more enjoyable now that I can add music to it. Plus I can get some serious piece of mind when my kids are loud. Its very very bad... Not working even after charged so long. Seller has sent 2017 manufacturing in 2019.Prompt delivery but I returned them because they would not stay in my ears. The sound was not high enough by mean if some one behind you is talking you will not be able to increase the volume to override his distraction yet the quality of the sound was good - battery life is not really good and some times you have a hard time identifying if the device is on or off - last comment was one of the earbud soft rubber fell and I discovered that they did not send even one pair of replaceable earbud rubber which I have never ever experienced with any similar product in my whole life and by losing this stupid tiny rubber your whole earbuds are gone , throw it in the garbage ….. what a loss !!!
